Introduction to the Research Assignment Author Biography – in the first part of the assignment, you will research your selected author from the list of three provided Romanticism – in the second part of the assignment, you will research romanticism. Literary Analysis – in the final part of the assignment, you will read and analyze your selected text, as well as, literary criticism about the text.

5. MAJOR COURSE REQUIREMENT The research paper is a Major Course Requirement. What does this mean? Why is this important? What happens if I don’t earn a passing grade? How will the paper affect my MP2 and MP3 grades?

6. Research Paper Materials One copy of the materials has been made for each student. Additional copies can be printed from the class website. Each student will also receive one copy of his/her selected short story.
