2 *JOB APPLICATION* A form that is completed by people applying for a job

3 RESUME A summary of a person’s work and school experiences to help employers hire the best person for a job.

4 *ETHICS* The standards that help determine what is good, right, and proper

5 *JOB INTERVIEW* A discussion (usually face-to-face) to determine whether an applicant is suitable for a job

7 LESSON SUMMARY 1.When most people apply for jobs, they are required to complete a job application and/or submit a resume. 2.It is important when applying for a job, just as with other aspects of life, to exhibit ethical behavior. 3.One of the best ways a person can demonstrate to an employer that she or he is the best person for a job is through the process of a job interview. 4.One of the most important things a person can do to prepare for an interview is to anticipate the kinds of questions that the interviewer is likely to ask and practice.
