2 The statue of the wolfhound which saved the life of Lady Marian.

3 The Deerpark Bridge was built in the 1830s to link Antrim Castle Gardens and the Massereene Estate with the Deerpark and Lough Neagh.

4 The Motte castle was the centre of an Anglo-Norman manor settlement. The timber castle would have stood on the top of the mound.

5 The Italianate Tower is all that remains of the Antrim Castle.

6 The motte castle was garrisoned by 2 knights, 12 armed archers and up to 40 foot soldiers.

7 A sundial stands in the centre of the parterre.

8 Antrim Castle had a parterre to delight its guests and supply the castle with herbs for both cooking and medicine.

9 John Skeffington, the 10th Viscount Massereene added a second long canal to the north of the original 17th century canal and cascade
