2 What is war? By Carl von Clausewitz’s definition - " War therefore is an act of violence to compel our opponent to fulfill our will”

3 “Destruction of the enemy” Three general objects: 1. The Military Power. 2. The Country. 3. The will of the enemy.

4 Center Of The Gravity To destroy your enemy and win the war you need to know where is their center of the gravity.

5 War qualifications Absolute war Limited war

6 Absolute War Abstract theory It’s going to extremely high masseurs. Maximum mobilization of all army sources the state has got. Distraction of enemy by break their will. Eliminate enemies political independency Only one goal: Win.

7 Limited War The war which we are seeing in real life Having specific reasons for war.( means, goals, aims) Bend the will of enemy to get what you have aimed for When the wanted aim will be fulfilled the peace will come. Partial mobilization of state’s army. Not destroy enemy politically but make them give what you desired. Can get secondary benefits and after make a peace.
