8. Creating Shortcuts Right click the program, drag and release on desktop. Choose create shortcut here. Some programs allow you to left click and drag with the shortcut being created automatically.

9. Adding and Removing Programs To add simply follow instructions from the software manual. To remove programs go to start, control panel, add and remove programs, choose the program you wish to remove and then hit the remove button.

10. System Properties This will allow you to view what your operating system is, processor speed, registration information, and amount of RAM. There are several ways to check your system properties: –Right click on my computer and click on properties –Go to start, setting, control panel, system

11. Changing your screen saver Right click on your desktop, go to properties, click on screen saver tab.
