2 Scientific Name  Caribou´s scientific name is Rangifer Tarandus Caribou.

3 TYPES OF CARIBOU Peary Caribou

6 ENDANGERED OF EXTINCTION  Caribou are extinct because human hunt them.

7 WHAT DOES CARIBOU EATS?  Caribou eat moss and lichen, that means it is a herbivore animal. MossLichen

21 HABITAT ECOSYSTEM  Caribou are found in Tundra ecosysytem of Alaska, Canada, Greenland and North America.  Tundra is a very cold biome with a lot of trees.

22 PHYSICAL ADAPTATIONS  Their circulatory system let them survive on a extreme temperature in the north.  Their hooves are large to dig the snow.  It has two skins that cover their body.  Their nose let them smell the moss and lichen that is under the snow.

24 HOW IS CALLED THE BABY?  The babies are called “Fawn”.

29 BEHAVIORAL ADAPTATIONS  1.300 km (800 miles)in a year.

30 MIGRATION  Caribous migrate mainly to find food.  The land animal that migrates the largest is the caribou.  Caribou are hunted for people.
