Dependent Use Subjunctive word is NOT used by itself, but is dependent on having some other stuff Often has this set up: Introducing wordsign post wordsubj. verb (does not have to(particular to be subjunctive)certain dependent use and so is a “sign” as to which use it is)

“Caveat” (warning) You can have an indirect question inside of a direct question, so long as the criteria for each are met. So do NOT look at punctuation of the sentence to determine type. Mirarisne quaenam sis?
