5. Challenges Involving different stakeholders from line ministries with different interests to understand the global environmental issues and mainstreaming them in their mandate. Involving the private sector to take part in their responsibility towards the global Environment and thus national environmental challenges. Establishing a mechanism for follow up and evaluation of the global environment issues and its linkage to the sustainable development process

6. Future vision Sustain the mainstreaming of the global environment issues in national plans through: - follow up on the CD action plan through planning department in EEAA - integrating the CD actions within different components of the sustainable development strategy - Resuming the work of the GEF national steering committee to program other GEF activities in the coming period
