Year 9 Globalisation Your task is to create a magazine/newspaper article on the following topic: ‘Globalisation – should it continue or should we control it?’ Use your class notes, debate notes and your own research/prior knowledge to help you.

Benefits and problems of globalisation –What are the good points and who does it benefit and why? –What the bad points and who does it affect? Examples of globalisation and TNC’s –Nike –GAP –Rosa and Annie Different points of view on globalisation –Who thinks it is a good idea and why? –Who thinks it is a bad idea and why? Own opinion –What do you think about globalisation? –Is it good or bad? –How does it make you feel? Possible solutions – local and global actions –What can be done to make globalisation fairer? –What can you do? –What can we all do together?
