1 Caption Writing Every photo MUST have a caption, if only just an identifications Every photo MUST have a caption, if only just an identifications A picture does not just paint a 1000 words, it STARTS a 1000 words. A good photo makes the reader want to know more and the photo caption tells the rest of the story.

9 Expanded All Rapped Up Smooth moves during an instrumental interlude brings the second block AP English class members to their feet in rock star mode to worship Juniors Mario Gonzales & Sam Jensen. These inseparable friends since the third grade wrote and performed an original rap song based on “The Raven” as their extra credit project for a literature/poetry writing unit. “In my 23 years as a teacher, I have never had a greater feeling of accomplishment as when these two young men applied what they had learned in such a meaningful way for all my students. It was one of those unforgettable teaching moments,” Mrs. Liz Sharpe said.

10 Quote Dancing Machines “Mario and I have been friends as long as I can remember. When Mrs. Sharp made the assignment, we looked at each other and immediately knew what we were going to do for the extra credit. It took us two weeks to write the rap and to learn all the choreography. It wasn’t just an impromptu thing. We always do it up right.” –Sam Jensen, explaining the standing ovation performance that he and Mario Gonzales gave for AP English class members.
