You have decided that abstinence the best choice for you. There are others who need to know that you have made a choice to abstain from sexual intercourse and why you made that choice.

You and your research team are to search out reasons why abstinence is the best choice for teens. Your team needs to find social, emotional, ethical, physical, and spiritual reasons to persuade your peers to the make decision to practice abstinence.

18 Instructions: In class, we have been discussing the benefits of choosing abstinence related to your physical, mental, and social health. For some, Abstinence ‘Till Marriage is their goal. For others, delaying sexual activity until they are more mature and responsible is their goal. As you look at your own personal brainstorm list of the physical, mental, and social benefits of Abstinence, you will be creating your own ATM card that reflects your own beliefs, attitudes and /or values on this topic. You are encouraged to be creative and original, using text, pictures, color, and graphics to make it personalized. The only mandatory things that must appear somewhere on your card are the letters “ATM,” and a place for your signature. Return to Process Page
