4. Use  Drilling & Boring Holes  Holes that are less than 1” inch in diameter are considered drilling.  Holes that are 1” or greater in diameter are considered boring.

5. Safety 1. Always clamp the work to the table. 2. Never leave the chuck key in the chuck. 3. Place scrap wood under your stock when drilling completely through. 4. Feed the bit into the wood at the proper speed. If the wood is burning, then either the: Bit is dull Feed is too fast Machine may be in reverse! 5. No auger bits!
