3. Goals : 1. Provide an early exposure to the students on field work based on their course by providing clinical services to the public. 2. Expose to the public about health science courses offered by UKM particularly in Faculty of Health Sciences. 3. Strengthen the relationship between students from different course in UKM through this social activities. 4. Expose to students the ways to establish an effective communication with the public. Mission : To raise the awareness of the public about the importance of health care through health fairs and counseling services that benefit the community.

4. Objektif : 1. Improve communication skills of students by explaining the information about heath to the community. 2. To create awareness among the public about the importance of their health and the need of clinical check-up. 3. Strengthen the relationship between students in UKM and the community.

5. 1.Meeting (Non Verbal Communication)

6. 2.Help each other to fold the brochure.  While folding the brochure, we communicate to one another so we know each other better and to strengthen our relationship.

7. 3.Explaining the type of hearing loss, ways to take care of our ears and symptoms of hearing loss.  This posters actually help us to convey the message more effectively so that the community has better understanding on what we are trying to say.

8. 4.Explaining and distributing the brochure.  I encourage the community to visit clinic Audiology and distribute them brochure that has information about the location of the clinic as well as some extra knowledge related to ears.

9. 5. Explaining the instrument use for hearing test. We explain to the community the uses of the instrument (pneumatic otoscope) and how audiologist use this instrument to conduct hearing test.

10. Throughout this activities, effective communication is very important as it can be a source of information. Effective communication is needed to build and maintain a healthy and strong relationship. Every good relationship requires mutual respect and trust, but these components won’t be there without any effort from everyone. In fact, communication skills are the key to develop friendship and to build a strong social support network. Improving our social support can actually build up our confidence when interacting with others and increase our chance for successful relationship!!
