1. TRIASSIC PERIOD In the Mesozoic (dinosaur) era there was three periods and this is the Triassic period.

2. LANDSCAPE  In the period the land was enormous mass  It was called Pangaea  During the period the supercontinent slowly began to break up

3. CLIMATE  The period was characterised by heat  It had vast deserts and warm seas

4. MAMMALS AND OTHER ANIMALS  The mammals and other animals in this period were Frogs, Turtles, Crocodiles, Ammonites, Nautiluses, Squids, Dragonflies, Scorpions, Millipedes, Goose barnacles, Snails, Slugs, Jellyfishes, Cynodonts, Placerias, Therapsids and Synapsids

5. PLANTS AND VEGETATION  In this period there were Conifers, Modern Conifers and Evergreens

6. DINOSAURS IN GENERAL  In general the dinosaurs were small and lightly built

7. COELOPHYSIS  It was 9 foot long  It weighed around 27kg  It was hollow boned  It fed on smaller reptiles  It was quick on it’s feet

8. EORAPTOR  It’s legth was 3 foot  It walked on 2 feet  It was the earliest dinosaur

9. IGUANODON  It was the first dinosaur to be discovered  It’s bones and teeth are different from many other dinosaurs

10. AT THE END OF THE PERIOD  At the end of this period it ended with a mass extinction  It wiped most animals and reptiles
