Net neutrality: Is it the end of our freedom? Brandon Weiss Period 3

What is Net Neutrality?  Net neutrality is the idea that everyone should receive equal non descrimatary rights on the internet.  As it is today the government is minimizing the democratic potential of the internet.

Why you should Know  Our government is based on this idea of freedom and although we have the bill of rights our rights are not protected on the internet.  The internet is seen as a third party so therefore our rights don’t apply for your internet rights.

Target Audience  Voters between ages 18-25  I will interest my audience by informing them the their rights on the internet are being impeded. I will best entice my audience by showing them how their internet rights are not even specified anywhere.

Argument position I will argue my point that our government should review our internet rights and specify them better and possibly fight for better rights. The minimal rights we have on the internet make small businesses hard to start up with the censorship of some internet sites.
