2 Cowan’s History... Mr. Cowan’s father started the business in 1944 in April. He was raised on a farm in Dodgersville. He ended up working for GoodYear Tires. They trained him to be a store manager.

3 Cowan’s History Continued... His Father helped GoodYear develop their distribution system. His father, with $6,000, helped him opened up his own tire store. His father opened up a Goodyear store and soon they let him hire & teach the new recruits. His last job w as in Spartanburg, SC.
