1 Reading makes a full man.(Francis Bacon). All books are divisible into two classes : the book of hour, and the book of all time.(John Ruskin). Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body. (Richard Steele). Reading is a vital form of communication with all of mankind, and wisdom of many ages. (Olzhas Suleymenov).

2 Books can tell us a lot about… lives of famous people, politics, ancient times, teenagers problems, interesting things, the rest of the world. Books help… discover new things, expend outlook, educate, solve problems, escape from everyday life problems. It is a perfect way to… Make fun, to feel comfortable, spend free time, relax,not to be alone, not to feel bored.

3 (1859-1930)-a British doctor and writer who wrote stories about the famous detective Sherlock Holmes.

4 (1890-1976) An English writer of popular books and plays,many of which have been made into films.Her most famous characters are the detectives Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple and two of her best-known books are «Murder on Orient Express» and «Death on the Nile».

5 (1564-1616) an English writer of plays, one of the most famous ever. Among the most famous of his plays are the tragedies of «Romeo and Juliet», «Hamlet», «Othello»,the comedies «A midsummer night s dream», «Twelfth night» and the historical plays «Richard 3», «Henry 4».He wrote some very good poetry, especially the Sonnets, and worked as an actor at the Globe Theatre in London.

6 An English writer and university teacher best known for his fantasy books «The Hobbit», and «The Lord of the Rings».

7 An English writer. Her most popular novel was «Jane Eyre».
