2. OLSH BYOD Portal Office 365 and more
The OLSH BYOD Portal is a mobile device management system called Airwatch which will setup your school device so you have access to:
School Wireless Internet
Printing
Student Shared Drive
This guide will also talk you through setting up your Office 365 access downloading the latest Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite of Software and ebooks you will need in 2016.

3. Things you will need:
Your chosen Device for 2016 charged and connected to the Home or School Internet. *Avoid using Mobile Data
OLSH Address and Password
An active Microsoft Account and Password (For Windows Devices)
Or an active iTunes Account and Password (For Apple Devices)
ebooks codes from Publishers (See booklist orders)

4. How to set up your Windows Device
Step 1. Visit Microsoft App Store
Step 2. Search for “AirWatch MDM Agent”
Select and Install the App/Program
Step 3. Once installed search for
AirWatch Agent on your laptop, Open the program and select
“Enrol with Window Workplace”

5. How to set up your Windows Device
Step 4. Click “Connect”
Step 5. Insert OLSH

6. How to set up your Windows Device
Step 6. Click “Continue”
Step 7. Insert OLSH “username” and “password”

7. How to set up your Windows Device
Step 8. Click “Yes” remember password
Step 9. Click “Done” To complete BYOD Setup
Note*AirWatch will now set everything up in the background

8. How to set up your Apple (Mac) Device
Step 1. Access
Step 2. Download
Airwatch”

Step 3. Click and Install “AirWatch”
Step 4. Click “Continue”

10. How to set up your Apple (Mac) Device
Step 5. Click “Continue”
Step 6. Click “Agree”

Step 7. Click “Install”
Step 8. Enter Laptop (Not OLSH) Username and Password

12. How to set up your Apple (Mac) Device
Step 10. AirWatch will Automatically open. Select “ ” then enter “OLSH address”
Step 9. Click “Close”

13. How to set up your Apple (Mac) Device
Step 13. Click “Enable”
Step 12. Click “Continue”

14. How to set up your Apple (Mac) Device
Step 14. Click “Close” To complete BYOD Setup
Note*AirWatch will now set everything up in the background

15. Microsoft Office Suite
Step 1. and enter your “OLSH Address”
*It will then redirect you.

16. Microsoft Office Suite
Step 2. Select “Work or School Account”
Step 3. Sign in using OLSH Username and Password

17. Microsoft Office Suite
Step 4. Click on the “cog setting” and select “Office 365 settings”

18. Microsoft Office Suite
Step 6. Click “Install” to download and install the latest Office Suite Software.
Step 5. Select “Install and Manage Software”

19. Adobe Suite
For Student who require the Adobe Suite of Software for classes (E.G Illustrator & Photoshop)

20. eBooks - Campion
All students are expected to have their Booklist digital editions (eBooks) installed prior to the commencement of the 2016 School year
Please make sure if you are using your parents to purchase digital text that you have PURCHASED CODES forwarded to your OLSH address
If you are having trouble setting up your ebooks access the help guides here:
*If accounts have been set up in previous years, students can go to publisher’s website and add the new text to their bookshelf.

24. Important Dates Return of Student Notebooks – FINAL WEEK
Students in Years please note the lease on your school laptop expires this year.
The College preference is that all devices and chargers are returned during the last week of school.
All parents should be receiving an explaining the OLSH College 2016 BYOD Program for Years
Please look at this carefully prior to the return dates to understand your options for laptops in 2016.
Students must backup all their files and documents prior to returning.
The schedule is as follows:
Year 9              Monday November 30th     Period 5
Year 10            Wednesday December 2nd Period 5
Year 11            Wednesday December 2nd   Period 5
Make sure that you have backed up all your work prior to submission.
IT staff will be coming to your classes in Period 5 on the scheduled day to collect your laptop and charger.
If you are not returning your device until next year complete and return the Device Retention Request Form attached in the BYOD in lieu of your laptop.

25. Important Dates Registering your Device
The College is aiming to have all 2016 Year 10-12
Student Devices registered by January 18th
Please make sure you have decided on your device and made arrangements to have it setup on the OLSH BYOD Portal and all relevant Software and eBooks installed by this date.
We will be sending out reminders to parents throughout January to ensure all students come prepared for Day 1 of classes next year.
