38. TIC Endowment Campaign Guarantee ongoing efforts to build the collections and databases. Enhancements will include additional electronic access to full text, open access to the databases, and a wider scope of material coverage indexed. The USGA Turfgrass Research Program has led the way in supporting the Campaign.

40. Why do all this? Raise “literature consciousness” & improve literature reviews within the discipline. Save time while identifying a wider range of relevant materials. Document the historic evolution of turfgrass science through its publication record and support turfgrass scholarship. Reduce the likelihood of unintentionally redundant research efforts. Connect seekers of materials with copies of that material.
