2 1 © Oliver Wyman 1 Introductions – Succeeding With New Aircraft Entry-Into-Service Andrew Tanner – Vice-President, Customer Services Andrew Tanner is responsible for the support services Pratt & Whitney provides customers throughout the life cycle of Pratt & Whitney commercial engines. His responsibilities include the company’s 24-hour Global Operations Center, Customer Technical Services unit, and customer training centers located in the United States, China and India. Andrew also is responsible for establishing the company’s Geared Turbofan™ engine “Entry into Service” support network, as well as leading more than 250 service professionals and 65 field offices. Andrew joined Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) in 1984 and assumed positions of increasing responsibility in the Engineering, Operations and Marketing organizations. Carsten Wortmann– Corporate Project Manager Carsten Wortmann is currently Corporate Product Manager at Lufthansa Technik AG. He joined Lufthansa Technik AG in 2007 where he worked as System Engineer and then Key Account Manager in the Aircraft Engineering Department. In 2012 he moved to Technical Services at Wizz Air as a Fleet Manager. Since January this year, he has been Corporate Product Manager at Lufthansa Technik in Corporate Strategy and Business Development Between 2001 and 2007 Carsten studied Aerospace Engineering at RWTH (Technical University of Aachen) and the RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) Phil Wardlaw – Vice President, Engineering Services Phil Wardlaw is the Vice President Engineering Services. EASA Part M post holder, accountable for Fleet Technical, Propulsion & Landing Gear, Design, Programmes & Reliability, Information Management, Airworthiness Records, Aircraft Asset Management, Aircraft Acquisitions and Returns, Supply Chain, Maintenance Planning and Technical Operations. Prior to taking his current role, he held various management positions at Virgin within the Production and Maintenance departments. He has been with Virgin for a total of 10 years. Phil began career with British Airways in the late 80s and worked in various maintenance roles with BA for 16 years.

What is the MRO and OEM community offering to support the new gen aircraft and inventory? What is critical in deciding what to handle in-house vs outsourcing? Planning is clearly critical to a successful launch … what are the key milestones and decision that contribute to a success? The goal of this panel is to discuss these and other questions that are essential to a successful entry-into-service
