5. MOST = adverb (superlative)  She is the MOST obnoxious girl in class. MOST = adjective  Most children like ice-cream. ALMOST = adverb  Almost every person likes popcorn. Most CAN NOT be used for the adverb ALMOST:  Most every person likes popcorn.
