2. Written Description My project is related to agriculture because I worked with planting seeds and growing my plants. I planted various types of flowers and plants in my yard. I planted a garden in my yard to get agricultural experience for this project. My goals for this project were to grow things in different pots. Another goal was to try to plant some in the ground. I grew flowers in containers and also in a flat garden. Another important goals were to grow carrots from pesticide free soil. I used a large tub to grow the carrots so that I would know that there were no pesticides in the soil. I thought that if I grew them in our backyard, the previous owners might have used pesticides. I have very high goals for the future. I am a junior in high school so I have one more year here and than I start my life. I plan to graduate from high school, go to college, and then become a kindergarten teacher. I want to make a difference in the world. Even if it’s a small good deed I want to achieve it. I love kids and I think the idea of being able to teach them while they are young is great. I will certainly take what I have learned from this experience and plant a garden with my students when I become a teacher.

3. Planting seeds I learn ed how to plant seeds and bulbs and the respo nsibi lity of wate ring them.

4. Picking carrots I had to water them to keep them alive and growing. I planted carrots as well as flowers for my garden.

6. My Roses I already had these roses in my yard, but I took care of them along with the new flowers I planted.

7. What I've learned The over all goal of my project was to grow plants and flowers to make my yard look nice. I learned throughout the process responsibility by learning time management. Planting and taking care of the flowers and carrots required a lot of time for them to grow successfully. I am very happy with how my garden turned out and will definitely keep planting more.
