2 Project Reporting - Remember Imagine that your project report is for the general manager, the design manager, the ICT manager, and perhaps the marketing manager of the hypothetical “client” (who pays for this work) – They have to decide if it makes sense to invest on your project and transform the prototype into a real system – They all want to have a clear idea of which users/needs/context of use you are addressing, what are the challenges of your project, what are the critical features and innovation aspects of your work, what is the technology you have used

3 KEY information to be included – Cover + Abstract – Table of contents – Introduction: an executive summary (1.2 pages) describing the general context of your work, the problems your are solving (for which users, contexts, and needs), the great solution you are offering, the innovative technology you are adopting – Requirements – Design A visual+textual representation of relevant scenarios (if useful, at multiple levels of abstraction and detail) A discussion of design problems and/or most important design solutions – Prototype Implementation the general sw/hw architecture needed to implement the system what is the current state of the implementation why the solution you have adopted is feasible any further information (technical problems encountered, limitations of your work...) – Conclusions A short discussion of your work and what you learned from this project
