3. يا من تُكلمنا عن سماك... فك عنى قيود الأرض Lord, You who speaks to us about Your heaven … about Your heaven … untie me from the earthly restrains the earthly restrains

4. يا صاحب الوعود و العهود.... ارفع عنى ثقل خطاياى. You, The One who gives promises & make commitments … take off me the burden of my sins

5. أخذت منا... و من فوق رءوسنا من كان شبهك... كان يعزينا و يفرحنا... صار معك... و لم يعد معنا على الأرض. You took from us … and from our sight… our superior the one who resembled You … the one who condolence us and delight us He is now with You …. and not with us on earth anymore

6. نحتاج منك... أبوة جديدة... و شبه جديد لك... و راعياً حسب قلبك We need from you … a new fatherly model … a new one resembling You …. And a shepherd who is according to Your heart نحتاج من ترسله لنا من سماك... كما ارسلت البابا شنودة فتذوقنا معه طعم الأبدية We need You to send us someone from Your heaven … as You have sent us Pope Shenouda whom we have tasted with him the taste of eternity

7. لا تتركنا لتكاسلنا... و جهلنا... لا ترفضنا مع المُظلمين الظالمين Do not leave us for our carelessness … and ignorance … do not reject us like the wicked unfair ones

8. انه أسبوع آلامك... و هو أيضاً اسبوع نعمتك... فتحنن علي جبلتك و أشفق على شعبك... و عزينا بأخبار قيامتك... Your Holy Week is also the week of Your grace so have compassion on Your creation and have pity on Your people … and condolence us with the news of Your resurrection …

9. من أجل ابراهيم حبيبك واسحاق عبدك و اسرائيل قديسك و البابا شنودة خليلك و تلميذك... For the sake of Abraham Your beloved, Isaac Your servant, Israel Your holy one, and Pope Shenouda Your friend & disciple …

10. ارحمنا يا رب... و لا تتركنا O Lord have mercy on us … and do not leave us F a t h e r D a o u d L a m i e
