3. God has no grandchildren.
Every person becomes a follower of Christ through another person.
Part of being a disciple is helping other people become disciples.
We need to be people who help lead people to Jesus.

5. We are God’s Plan A to bring people to Himself. He has no Plan B.

10. Relational vs. Confrontational Methods:

11. Relational
- Share with people about Jesus only after spending time developing a relationship (co- worker, friend, classmate, and neighbor)
- "Preach the gospel always, If necessary use words." - St. Francis of Assisi.
- Very popular mindset in the church today.
- People point to Jesus as a “friend to sinners.”

12. Confrontational
Asking someone to trust Jesus before developing a relationship with them.
Mainly includes sharing with a stranger or someone we just barely know about Jesus.
In your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you… - 1 Peter 3:15
We see this as a the prominent New Testament model (most used by Jesus, Paul and Peter)

13. A growing disciple of Christ should be prepared to use both (relational & confrontational) methods:

Courage
If the same person was dying of cancer and you knew the doctor to send them to, you would do it.
Satan is trying to stop you; that’s why it’s so hard.
For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels. But I tell you truly, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the kingdom of God.” – Luke 9:26-27

We all need to be growing in our understanding of our Faith

Simplicity
People do not need to become Republicans to trust Jesus as their Savior
People do not need to have the same views on the End Times to trust Jesus as their Savior

18. 1. People Everyone Needs Salvation
Romans 3:10-12, and 23 As the Scriptures say, “No one is righteous—not even one. No one is truly wise; no one is seeking God. All have turned away; all have become useless. No one does good, not a single one.” ... For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

19. 2. Problem The price (or consequence) of sin is death.
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesus Christ died for our sins. He paid the price for our death.
Romans 5:8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners.

We receive salvation and eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 10:9-10, and 13 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved ... For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
Romans 8:1 So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

Romans 8: And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
