2. Introduction Ebola (also called ebola hemorrhagic fever) is a deadly disease caused by a virus with the same name. It attacks the body by using the immune system’s aggressiveness to its advantage. It is known for its outbreak in Africa, the 2 nd most biggest continent in the world, and how deadly it affects infected people.Africa

3. Transmission Ebola is transmitted by fluids from a body of infected or dead people or from semen of someone who has recovered from Ebola.

4. Symptoms Symptoms happen after 2 days. This is the time where the infected person is contagious.

5. Total Deaths According to the World Health Organization, Ebola has killed 5.1 thousand people in Africa by 2014. In fact, the one above killed the over twice the amount at 115 thousand deaths. Compare this amount to 1,111M people (relative to 2013) on Africa. Ebola now looks very small, hence the fact that it started in 2014.
