They have glowing tentacles to see. It can change color for camouflage. Their eyes are the biggest in the world so they can see in the dark depths. They have large gills to breathe. Their thick skin keeps them warm.

4. Diet
The giant squid is a carnivore. Three things they find yummy snacks are fish , other squid, and small whales. Now let’s see how they get food.

First of all they have beach ball-sized eyes for seeing in the dark depths. Did you know they can change color? Their glowing tentacles lure prey. When they spray brown ink prey can’t see. They also have suction cups to grip their tasty treats.

Sperm whales eat them. Then they eat small whales who eat krill.
