FUTURE FLIGHT DESIGN BY AARON AND JACOB

 Criteria: 3 team members need to fit, it has to fly 25 miles, and it has to be under 30 minutes.  Constraints: it has to fit between buildings, has to fly there, it has to be under $4,425,000.

 We chose 2 rotors for are vehicle because we wanted a helicopter for the flight and they were the cheapest things and it succeeded our price rang!  >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >>>>>>>>> Engines  We chose the piston engine because it is in are price rang and it will get us where we need to go!

Fuselage The fuselage we chose was a small fuselage because we only needed to carry 3 people and didn’t have to go that far and it was fuel efficient and we needed to fit between buildings! ****************************************************** Systems Systems work together like the fuselage helps hold propulsion the cockpit helps guide all the systems and what they have to do!

Trade offs can be good and bad because changing things can affect other things and worsen them. Some trade offs we had to make was there was a good engine but it costs to much so we got a better engine for less. We also had to make a trade offs with propellers because it couldn't be over are price range and it had to get us to were we needed! @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Our Description Changed a lot because fist we had a flying saucer ad we didn’t know much about cost and that stuff.our last one it was like a jet and we knew about materiel our lift our engine and the cost!

 The 4 forces affected are vehicle because we couldn’t have to much weight so it relied on lift and we couldn't make it too big other wise drag would make our vehicle go slower but we needed thrust! “””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””” Our test results went good and we made it! Four forces

Glossary  Lift: the upward force that makes the thing fly.  Drag: a resistance force created by air molecules  Weight: the force pushing on it.  Thrust: a force that moves the object forward

Career The career we liked the most was the job were you test the planes and fi it because we like fixing things and we would get paid a lot!

 Fuselage 110,000  Lift 110,000  Engine 25,000
