2. What is AACE The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) represents more than 6,500 endocrinologists in the United States and abroad. AACE is the largest association of clinical endocrinologists in the world. The majority of AACE members are certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism and concentrate on the treatment of patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, growth hormone deficiency, cholesterol disorders, hypertension and obesity.

3. What is the CAP Founded in 1993, the Corporate AACE Partnership (CAP) is a forum whose purpose is to develop an open dialogue between industry and AACE in the furtherance of patient care. The mission of the CAP is to facilitate the improvement of endocrine patient care by working with industry in areas of mutual interest.

4. Qualifications of the CAP Pharmaceutical, medical devices, and other companies whose products or services: – Support the advancement of the mission and goals of AACE; – Provide a value added benefit to the members of AACE in the pursuit of excellence in the practice of clinical endocrinology and contribute to the economic viability of the physician’s practice; – Serve to enhance the quality of care for patients with endocrine disorders; and – Foster increased awareness about endocrine disorders and the important role of the clinical endocrinologist.
