13 g. Nixon gives in 1.Nixon gives up tapes, minus nearly 19 minutes. 2.Aug 5 th tapes, “The Smoking Gun”, reveals Nixon knew about the break and cover up.) 3.Aug 9, 1974 Nixon resigns, three days later rather than be impeached. 4.One month Later Ford pardons Nixon
