14. Agenda Identify opportunities for extending the influence of BIFM through research activity. Achieve national recognition as the principal source for authoritative information on matters of FM research / knowledge.

15. Agenda Identify gaps in research knowledge and support / commission original research. Influence funders of research by championing individual research proposals

16. Agenda Develop a programme of targeted research to support current and future needs. Establish and maintain a knowledge network and database – survey of members’ areas of activity, interests, skills, sector etc.

17. Agenda Co-ordinate and Quality Assure Special Interest Groups’ and Sector Forums’ contributions to the knowledge base. Support them by undertaking / commissioning original research in their areas of interest.
