Increase and Net Migration. 317.7 eg; The lowest value on the table will be ; -103.5 The range of values for the entire table is: 317.7 --103.5 421.2 This value will help us set up the y-axis in the next step.

Standard Sheet of linear X linear graph paper 33 boxes 42 boxes

Locate the base of the y-axis at 4 squares up and 1 square in and draw a line of 22 squares The range of values for the entire table is: 317.7 --103.5 421.2 This value will help us set up the y-axis. -120 -80 -40 0 Draw a tick mark every 2 nd square. Starting from the base, label the marks as -120, -80, -40, 0 etc… to 320 Etc… Don’t forget to identify the units on the y- axis!

Place a tick mark on the x-axis every 5 th square. ‘20‘30 Don’t forget to identify the units on this axis! ‘10 -120 -80 -40 0 Starting at 0 draw an x-axis 40 squares long At the base of the graph label every 2 nd mark as ‘10, ’20, ’30 etc… to ‘50

Place a tick mark every 5 th horizontal square and label every 2 nd mark as ‘10, ’20, ’30 etc… to ‘50 ‘20‘30 Don’t forget to identify the units on this axis! ‘10 -120 -80 -40 0 ‘20‘30‘10 -120 -80 -40 0 Year Natural Increase (x 1000) Net Migration (x 1000) Population Growth (x 1000) 2010124.9192.8317.7 2012109.8192.4302.2 201492.1163.7255.8
