3 His life=his work  General staff of Mexican Army 1914- 1922  Studied in Europe-influenced by Michelangelo.  Lived in US 1923-1928

4 Personal Reformation  First mural 1923-Mexico City  US-began to experiment with different mediums (resin, acrylic, asbestos).  Influenced by machinery, speed, science and technology  Secretary of the Communist National party-imprisoned in 1930.
