5. What does the NRM Regional Plan have to do with Local Government? It’s a Plan for the Region, not just the AMLR Board It will define strategic outcomes for NRM in the region It will guide investments for the next ten years Partner projects will get priority A Local Government/NRM Partnership Project is being progressed through the LGA

6. How will local government get its say? The Partnership Project at the LGA State Conference ‘Cluster groups’ of councils will meet with us in May Community forums will follow in June Formal consultation on the draft plan will be in Oct/Nov
