7 New Faculty Member Dr. Jennifer Brown, Chemical and Biological Engineering Assistant Professor Ph.D. Chemical Engineering; Montana State Univ. (2007) Research Interests: Magnetic Resonance Microscopy (MRM) studies of complex fluid dynamics, such as in wormlike micelle systems, gels and colloidal suspensions, in conjunction with rheometric fluid characterization. In-situ Rheo-NMR systems and dynamic NMR imaging provide direct flow field visualization, are complementary to rheometric models of viscoelasticity, and relate the macroscopic fluid response to the microstructure of the material.
