5  1 pathway for electrons to travel on.  Resistance increases as you add light bulbs to circuit, current decreases. ◦ Light bulbs become dimmer  If one light goes out, then…. ◦ They all go out (Christmas Lights)

7  More than 1 pathway for electrons to travel on.  Total current stays same as you add more resistance, current does not decrease like series circuit. ◦ Light bulb becomes brighter  If one light goes out, then…. ◦ Other lights stay on  Circuits in house are mostly parallel
