9 School Buses zInstall closed crankcase technology. zDEP perform study to determine if tailpipe controls also necessary.

10 Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel zOn-roads must use by October 15, 2006 zDEP conduct hearing to determine feasibility of requiring non-roads to use in January 2007 zSignificant env benefits to early phase-in.

11 Timeline zAdopt regulations in 9 months. zCrankcase on school buses within 15 months of regulations. zStudy re: school bus tailpipe controls within 2 years. zRegulated vehicles phased in: garbage trucks, NJ Transit, private transit, then publicly owned.
