2 Water is one of the most common substances on the Earth. It covers over 70% of the surface of our planet. The HIDROSPHERE consists of all the water on Earth (seas, oceans, rivers and lakes, ice…).

3 Most of the Earth’s water is found in the oceans. Oceans cover more than 70% of the Earth's surface. There is actually only one big ocean in the world, as every ocean and sea are connected.

4 A SEA is part of an ocean that is partially surrounded by land. If it is totally surrounded, then it's called an INLAND SEA.

5 · The PACIFIC OCEAN is the largest of the five main oceans. It's 15 times the size of the US. 8 · The Artic Ocean covers the North Pole. It's frozen all the time, except at its edges.
