2. Accomplishment o “ Approved ” Texas SET Working Group Procedures documentation, changes include: o Creating guidelines for implementing change control request received outside of version releases (RMS Action item from August RMS meeting) o Documenting Timeline for updates to TX SET Implementation Guides for a Version Release, o Documenting Texas SET Acceptable Extended Character SETs for Alphanumeric data fields in the Texas SET transactions and SEF File process, o Updating website references, and o Re-organizing the flow of the document

3. Action Items: “On Hold” Option 6: “Long Term Solution” is to solve the issue of CR receiving foreign (DR) Profile ID assignments as the result of a Switch (Move-In/Move-Out?) by dynamically changing the profile found in the Texas SET transaction for an 814_04 and 814_05 because the Profile ID assignment should default back to the original Profile ID. The receiving CR would not be required to make any system changes to receive foreign (DR) Profile ID codes. October 11, 2007 - Texas SET and Profile Working Group (PWG) held a conference call to discuss Option 6, however in the discussion another option (call it Option 9) was introduced into the conversation that appeared to be viable that needed exploring. PWG members agreed that Texas SET did not have any action items from this conference call since ERCOT will need to investigate the feasibility of the new Option 9. ERCOT would provide their feedback to PWG on October 23, 2007. October 23, 2007- Demand Response Profiling was discussed at PWG’s October meeting. Due to several unanswered questions and issues expressed by ERCOT, PWG would recommend to COPS and RMS that a combined Taskforce be created to vent issues, questions, and concerns identified by Market Participants and ERCOT for Demand Response Programs.

Action Items: “More Information Needed” Nodal Changes: Action Item to TX SET from RMS: Discuss the Issues and Develop a Process to manage approximately 2 Million 814_20 ESI ID Maintenance transactions that could be communicated in the Market to support Nodal database changes.  Determine the impacts to Market Participants and ERCOT  Annual Validation  System Processing limitations  Scheduling and Volume Concerns  Management of Old and New Database Station IDs  Create implementation plan and timeline that would provide an organized transition for the Market  When should we start in 2008?  How long will it take to complete?

5. Action Items: “IDR Updates Need PWG Review” Action Item to TX SET from RMS Review and Update Retail Market Guide Section 7.13.2.2 for Mandatory IDR Install Process to close gap between the Guide language and Protocols Section 18.6.1 “IDR Installation and Use in Settlement” where Protocol makes a statement that once the threshold requirements have been met an IDR “must” be installed and the “RMG” language states IDR “may” be installed. Texas SET has made the corrections that we feel comfortable with in response to the action item, however we feel that the Profile Working Group should review our changes to prevent any discrepancies with profiling. Texas SET will send our suggested changes to the Profile Working Group listserv for PWG’s review and recommendation, if needed, TX SET will participate in PWG’s December 4 th meeting for questions and answers prior to submitting a joint recommendation to RMS & PRS.
