5. LANDFORMS Plateau is a landform with a high elevation and a more or less level surface. Example Colombia Plateau in Washington state.

6. LANDFORM Plains are made up of nearly flat or gently rolling land with low relief. Example The Great Plains, Mid- Western Northern America

7. LANDFORM Mountain has a high elevation and a high relief. Example Rocky Mountains Western side of North and South America.

8. MODELING LANDFORMS In a group you will use three different types of modeling clay to create each landform ( plains, plateaus, mountains). Once you finish connect all three to form an unbroken landscape of the area. If time permits select a spokes person to share your land area.
