2. Popcorn Fundraiser For my Sports Marketing Class we were giving the opportunity to sell popcorn in order to raise money for Chantel’s House, a local charity. So I got the popcorn and began to sell the popcorn to family members, friends, and neighbors. I obtained the donations in various ways including door-to- door, using the internet, and making phone calls. By the time I was done, I raised $150 dollars for the charity.

3. Woodlake United Methodist Church A local church was in the process of building a new sanctuary therefore they had to move to the auditorium of a local high school every Sunday. So they needed volunteers that would help setup and take down the mobile church every week. I volunteered every other Sunday to help before and after the service to move the nursery, sound systems, etc. back on and off the trailers. After about 4 months of volunteering, I began to direct the setup and take down of the church. I would direct around 25 volunteers how to pack and unpack the trailer in order to successfully mobilize the church.

4. Tutoring Program A club in my high school, Mu Alpha Theta, held tutoring sessions 3 days a school week. I would tutor students at Cosby High School in all the subjects of math offered at the school, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics. At the end of the year, I had logged a total of 25 tutoring hours
