4 NATIONAL FORUM TRANSFORMATION OF UKRAINE The main goal of the National Forum is to facilitate coordination of efforts of the civil society, President, Government, Parliament of Ukraine and International Community to develop and implement the European model of Ukraine’s development. 8 POLISH EXPERIENCE IN COUNTRY’S TRANSFORMATION NATIONAL FORUM TRANSFORMATION OF UKRAINE WWW.NFTU.ORG.UA Polish experience in the country’s transformation, as well as Polish experience in the cooperation with the USA should be used as a model for Ukraine. In November 1989 the US Congress adopted the Support for East European Democracy (SEED) Act, that provided the basis for the establishment of the Polish-American Enterprise Fund which contributed to the process of creating the market economy in Poland.
