2. Rowing races are head-to-head races. There will be eight rowers and a Cox. There are lightweight events too, which depends on the weight of the rowers and the boat.

3. Officials The officials are the President Of the Jury, the Time keepers, aligner, starter, and Judges at the finish line. Breaking Rules Athletes can be penalized for a false start, leaving their lane, or hitting another boat. The Cox The Cox or the Coxswain sits at the back of the boat and steers the boat while directing the crew. Lightweight Events In women's lightweight events, No woman can weigh over 59kg (130lbs).

5. Eton Dorney The race will be held at Eton Dorney Rowing Center that is about 25 miles west from London. Eton Dorney is in a 400 acre nature conservation area and is called one of the best rowing places in the world.
