This is just an introduction.

3 GIS 3 GIS Tutorial, Third Edition PPD 631 - Components Lectures – introduce the next tutorial topic. purpose: to teach concepts prior to each tutorial Tutorial book – ideal GIS experience. purpose: to learn how the software is supposed to work GIS20 book – real-world GIS experience. purpose: to learn how to use the software in the real world Literature Review - simple “book report.” purpose: to explore GIS applications in your area of interest Project – your own real-world GIS project. purpose: to apply what you’ve learned throughout the class Reflections Paper – tell us what you learned. purpose: give us feedback on what worked or didn’t Speakers – real world examples from GIS professionals. purpose: provide diverse examples of GIS

Do not wait for an announcement. You must be present to win! Please be here on time for each meeting so we can make the most of our working together. If you have scheduling issues, we will work something out. No, we cannot do this as a weekly class.
