2  The class will be divided into approximately 4 or 5 groups.  This is a group activity in a game format with a competitive atmosphere.  The title “World Rally,” refers to the requirements which must be correctly completed before each team is allowed to advance from checkpoint to checkpoint.  S. 3  You will be taking a trip around the world in the form of a rally race. The object is to be the first group to complete the trip by having answered all the questions en route. Checkpoints along the way are to be verified by the teacher before moving on to the next checkpoint. Team work, speed, and accuracy are essential to being competitive in, or winning, the rally.  Each checkpoint is a set of latitude and longitude coordinates that locate a major city. You must provide the country and the continent for the location of each city checkpoint. Between the checkpoints, several questions dealing with the trip from one city to the next must be answered. You must correctly answer all the questions and receive verification from the teacher in order to move onto the next checkpoint. The first team to receive verification on all checkpoints is the winner.  S.
