2 Duncan, WHO!? His name is Duncan (like the donuts!) Tonatiuh (toh-nah-tyou) Duncan was born in Mexico City but grew up in San Miguel de Allende. He is the son of a Mexican mother and an American father. At age 16 he began boarding school in Massachusetts – this is where he discovered his love for art. He graduated from Parsons The New School for Design and from Eugene Lang College in New York City in 2008.

8 Boys and girls, I am SO excited to begin this author/illustrator study with you! We are going to have so much fun learning about Duncan Tonatiuh and you guys are going to LOVE his three books that we will read!
