3  In order to be nominated:  You must be in good standing (i.e. Financial)  You must not have serve more than 4 consecutive terms in the same office without a break in service  Participated in at least one fraternity program in the previous year  You must be Risk Management & IMDP Certified  Must have been active for one year with the RSL chapter to be nominated for President or Vice-President.  Nominations for officer positions will take place at the chapter meeting in March and April.  Voting, for those nominated, will take place at the chapter meeting in May or via receipt of absentee ballot.  Majority vote will used to determine elected officers.

4  Nomination will occur at the chapter’s March and April meeting.  Nomination cannot close with less than two nominees unless the chairman has asked 3 times for other nominations since the last nomination was made.  No nomination will be accepted after the Apr meeting with the exception of write-in candidates  Each nominee will be introduced in the April chapter meeting and will be given three minutes to state his proposed plan of work if elected to the position

5  Absentee ballot will be available to include write-in for each position  In person elections to take place at the chapter meeting in May  Each member will be handed a ballot for voting with an write-in option for each position.  No nominations from the floor  President shall appoint two neutral observers for the counting of the ballots  Chairman shall announce the elected for each position.
