Permission has been granted by the American Sighthound Field Association for the holding of this event under American Sighthound Field Association Rules and Regulations. A $5.00 fine will be charged to anybody caught not picking up after their dog or leaving garbage on the field. Anybody exhibiting unsportsmanlike behavior will be excused from the field and may be subject to further disciplinary action. These rules will be strictly enforced. ASFA Region 1 ALL BREED ASFA LURE FIELD TRIAL Saturday October 23, 2010 Meadowbrook Farm, SE Park St. & Boalch Ave SE, North Bend, WA Entry Fees: Early entry:$18 first hound, $16 second hound, same owner, $14 each additional hound, same owner. Day-of-Trial:$25.00 each hound ASFA regulations prohibit the field secretary from accepting conditional entries, including phone, unpaid, or non-certified or non-waivered FTE (First Time Entered) entries. Completed entries, with fees, must be received by Early Entry deadline. Certification runs will be offered before the trial, limited to 6 runs, at the cost of $10.00 per dog. You must pre-arrange certification runs with the Field Secretary (first come, first served) and must provide your own by-dog. Hounds certifying may enter Saturday’s trial at early-entry fee only if paperwork is received at the secretary’s table by 9:00 a.m. the day of the trial. Directions to the field: From the West: Drive east on I-90. Take Exit 27 Snoqualmie/Snoqualmie Falls). At the off- ramp stop sign, go left under freeway. Stay in the right lane, go straight thru roundabout. Take the Snoqualmie/Snoqualmie Falls left-turn lane. Continue downhill past Snoqualmie Hospital (on your left). Go straight thru traffic light at SR202 (Milk Barn on left). Pass Mount Si High School (on your left). Turn right at the stop sign (Park Street). Continue east on Park Street (school & ball fields on right). Meadowbrook Farm begins here. Look for LC sign on right. From the East: Drive west on I-90. Take Exit 31 (North Bed) and turn right on North Bend Blvd Continue thru traffic lights and thru downtown North Bend. Bear left as the road (SR202) turns and continues west. Proceed over the bridge and turn right on Boalch Ave. Proceed on Boalch Ave (funeral home on right). Proceed west over small bridge. Meadowbrook Farm starts here. Look for signs on left.

2 Conditions of Entry All entries must be one year or older on the day of the trial. Stakes will be split into flights by public random draw if the entry in any regular stake is 20 or more. Bitches in season, lame hounds and hounds with breed disqualifications will be excused at roll call. Spayed, neutered, monorchid or cryptorchid hounds without breed disqualifications may be entered. Hounds with breed disqualifications are not eligible to enter except in the Single Stake. Hounds not present at the time of roll call will be scratched. All hounds will run twice, in trios if possible or braces (except in the Single Stake), unless excused, dismissed or disqualified. Hound certification runs will be offered before the trial (see front cover for details). Additional Information A $5 penalty will be assessed for any loose hound on the trial site not competing in the course in progress. NWRRC requests that everyone pick up after their dogs and leave no trash on the field at the end of the day. No alcoholic beverage will be permitted on the site during trial hours. Persons exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct detrimental to NWRRC, ASFA, Meadowbrook Farm, or any other person may be asked, at the Field Committee’s discretion to leave the trial site. Persons exhibiting abuse or mistreatment of any hound on the grounds during trial hours may be asked, at the Field Committee's discretion, to leave the trial site. Any hound that displays any uncontrolled aggressive behavior toward any person or hounds on the trial grounds, except hounds competing in the course then in progress, may be excused from the field for the day, at the Field Committee's discretion. Points & placements go toward V-FCH & V-LCM titles. LIMITED STAKE: Any eligible sighthound of a Limited or Provisional stake breed that has met certification requirements. Limited and/or Provisional stake entries shall be individually registered with the appropriate registry. A photocopy of acceptable registry must be submitted with a hound’s first ASFA field trial entry; this requirement is waived for Greyhounds registered with the NGA registry. Equipment Battery-powered continuous loop lure machines will be used, with backup equipment on site. The lure will consist of white plastic and/or fur strips. Course Plan (reversed for finals) The club reserves the right to alter the course as require by weather and/or field conditions on the day of the trial.
