2  Lead  Close down when necessary towards lane line  Stay parallel to baseline  “Mirror” the ball position  You have block/charge in the paint when originating from Trail’s area  Use proper free throw position: On non action free throw: 1 step back & 1 step to the side of the lane line. Action free throw: 2 steps back & 2 steps to the side of the lane line.  When administering Throw in: When staying: hand the ball to the thrower/ wait for trail to raise hand to “mirror chop” to tell you he’s ready to go, then hand ball to thrower  When going the other way; administer the throw in by bouncing the ball from 4-6 feet away  Recognize 60/40 area  TYP Trust Your Partner (especially Center) to get the call coming from their primary  TYP Tell Your Partners if you have a shooting foul or point out the spot Lead

L Lead Should Focus On His/Her Primary Area Lead Should Not Call Across The Lane Trust C to Get The Call or Recognize Situation Earlier & Rotate Across To Get The Call

Stay parallel to baseline at all times.
