2. Task Below, are mix up sentence linked to the life of Moses. Rewrite them in the correct order in your exercise books. Moses was looking after sheep and God spoke to him through a burning bush. Then on Mount Sinai, God gave Moses 10 commandments which are the rules Jewish people follow today. God told Moses to go the Pharaoh and say he was unhappy with him. The Israelites left Egypt via the Red Sea. The king’s daughter found a basket in the river containing a baby. God sent 10 plagues to Egypt. 1 4 3 5 6 2

3. Task Now having the statements in the correct order, write a short newspaper article from the perspective of an Egyptian reporter/newspaper. Level 3 Include, a photograph of the burning bush, and write out the 6 points in the correct order in a paragraph. Level 4 Include a picture of one of the events and write the 6 points and any other piece of information you can recall from the video clip into a newspaper article. Level 5 Complete the task in level 4 but at the end, write a short reply to the Egyptian paper about why the story of Moses is important to the Jewish faith.
